Carpool lanes: Making commuting better?
The province is negotiating with commuter communities outside toronto to expand the high occupancy vehicle lanes popping up around the GTA, Transportation Minister Donna Cansfield said Monday as she opened another carpool lane north of the city. The lanes, which are reserved for cars carrying at least two people, have been opened on selected sections of the 400 series highways and will be expanded around the Greater toronto Area, Cansfield said.
